- Fixed all Monk technique messages to differentiate on presence/absence of body parts.
- Increased timer on 'observe' to make learning Monk techniques more user friendly.
- Added a completely new stance system ('help stance').
- Upgraded the usefulness of 'talk' command - integrating secrets, hints and story.
- Finished Lampryi class redesign and initial implementation phase (not complete).
- Increased experience gain for live catches via the 'fish' skill.
- Fixed 'repair' skill to correctly repair damage to gemmed weapons.
- Fixed a crash bug on certain affect removals.
- Fixed a crash bug on butchering meats from PCs.
- Removed implicit kill requirements on classing.
- Slightly decreased cost on blood healing (Lampryi, Common 2).
- Lampryi can now forget darkgifts via the Elder NPCs ('help darkgifts').
- The regen bug on the Ring of Spidre artifact has been fixed.
- The bless spell and some spells at 0% have been removed from existing characters.
- The yellow bake and brew spells have been removed from all characters.
- New characters now start with three spells: heal, magic missile and preserve.
- Spell books can now be studied to learn new spells.
- Certain NPCs can now use stances in varying capacities and abilities.
- All unarmed techniques now correctly check for gems on hand or foot armor.
- Manually executed unarmed techniques now have a vitality cost.
- Manually executed unarmed techniques have a chance to increase stance and unarmed levels.
- Stance increase bonuses can be earned for effective usage of stances against opponents.
- Fixed a bug with glitched display of oversized maps.
- Changed display of speed on 'combatscore' - higher is better now.
- Modified the variable resistance on Fortitude (Lampryi).
- Changed the display of variable damage resisted on 'combatscore'.
- Removed display of unused faith/will stats from 'score'.
- Slightly increased the speed of regeneration for Spiritual Healing (Monk, Chi 0).
- Fixed bug with wimpy setting to negative values.
- Fixed the erroneous shield/aura application messages on wielding gemmed weapons.
- Removed extraneous skill level output on wielding weapons.
- Gnoll Miners and Tserak Lochnors should no longer enter mines while fighting.
- Zombies should no longer attempt to interact with characters in other planes.
- The Sandlion should now come out to eat more often and stay above ground longer.
- Everyone's luck stat has been updated to a non-zero value.
- New area: Valley of Shadows is now open.
- The Lampryi Laboratory and Ancient Library have been unlocked in Draconia.
- A bug was fixed that prevented Monks from gaining int increases for Sensei/Grandmaster.
- Mage int stat has been adjusted and now increases steadily through class progression.
- The probability distribution for stance and color level increases has been modified.
- Mage classing and promotion requirements have been changed.
- The main door leading into The Academy has been permanently sealed for the time being.
- The effectiveness of the 'bless' spell has been increased.
- Being decapitated by an NPC now correctly increments mdeaths instead of pdeaths.
- The Monk class progression system has been completely rewritten.
- Made numerous cosmetic changes from everything to the login screen to the world itself.
- A few limited actions now have luck checks to give better odds of a good outcome.
- Numerous experience bonuses have been added to producing/procuring/creating type actions.
- All experience bonuses should now properly apply Newbie experience modifiers.
- Magi have a new chant word available: 'fortuna' for luck.
- The unarmed technique 'roundhouse' (Monk) will no longer hit group members.
